Esther O Arokun

Esther represents community associations, including homeowners’ associations (HOAs) and condominiums, and advises clients in a range of civil litigation matters, including breach of contract and personal injury disputes. Her practice is shaped by experience in both the United States and West Africa, giving her a broader perspective in assisting clients in resolving their legal and business challenges.

Esther is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and Manager (CIPM) and works with businesses on privacy compliance and data protection. She helps clients understand what privacy laws require, develop policies and practices that fit their operations, and identify risks before they become problems. When a data breach or other privacy incident occurs, Esther assists clients with their legal obligations, response strategy, and the steps needed to move forward.

Before practicing in the United States, Esther spent years in West Africa (Nigeria) representing clients in civil litigation, corporate law, advising on regulatory compliance, and working on cross-border privacy and data protection matters. That experience informs her approach, particularly when advising businesses with international operations.

Esther serves on the Privacy Committee of the Washington State Bar Association's Business Law Section. She is also committed to mentoring students and young professionals through initiatives that promote professional certifications and meaningful career development.
