Mr. Fick’s practice focuses primarily on commercial, construction, product and real estate litigation. Mr. Fick has defended a large number of cases ranging from personal injury and product liability to construction defect matters. His litigation work includes representing developers, companies and manufacturers in a wide variety of commercial disputes. Some of these matters include, but are not limited to: title and escrow negligence, product failure claims, commercial roof collapse, fire loss, defect claims, liens, toxic torts and personal injury. Mr. Fick has also assisted clients with commercial and residential real estate transactions, including condominium and multi-family development.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Fick worked in the construction industry, real estate sales and development, and the timber industry. Mr. Fick grew up on his family’s livestock ranch near Eugene, Oregon where they raised pure bred cattle and champion cutting horses. While at the University of Oregon, Jim played football for one year. In his free time, Jim enjoys participating in a wide range of outdoor activities and spending time with his wife and three children on the family farm where they raise horses, goats, chickens turkeys and bees. They also have a few dogs and cats running about.
