Mr. Dugoni worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Milton L Schwartz of the United States Federal District Court, Eastern District of California before beginning his thirteen year practice as a civil litigator with Gordon & Rees in San Francisco where he was a partner. He specialized in Attorney Malpractice, Construction Defect, and insurance tort defense and coverage. He argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and remains licensed to practice before all courts of the State of California. In 1999 Mr. Dugoni left the full-time practice of law to write novels. He is the New York Times and San Francisco Chronicle best-selling author of the legal/political thrillers, The Jury Master, (Warner Books Feb. 2006) and Damage Control (Warner Books Feb 2007). His expose, The Cyanide Canary, (Simon & Schuster 2004) was a Washington Post 2004 Best Book of the Year Selection, and the Idaho Librarian's Association's Book of the Year. His novels are published in 15 foreign countries. Mr. Dugoni also teaches the craft of writing throughout the United States.
